FRBC-Littleton Bird Walk to Harriman Lake with Chuck AidSeptember 7, 2019 @ 7:30 am - 12:00 pm10146 W San Juan Way, Littleton, CO 80127, USA
Harriman Lake is a nice easy walk around a pretty lake with good views of the foothills. The trail is natural surface and passes through a nice wetland area on the eastern portion of the lake. The trail then parallels Quincy Ave for a little ways before turning south and circumnavigating the lake. The trail on the south shore of the lake follows Harriman Canal back to the parking area.
We will meet at the FRBC-Boulder store (10146 West San Juan Way Littleton, CO 80127) at 7:30am for our Birder’s Breakfast (featuring Birds & Beans “bird-friendly” certified coffee) and then carpool to Harriman Lake. We will return by 12pm.
Be sure to dress in layers for the weather and bring binoculars, water, snacks or lunch, hat, bug spray, and sunscreen.
Please call the store (303.979.2473) to sign up. Limit is 15 participants. Preference will fall to those meeting at the store but any open spots can go to folks wishing to meet at the site.
